We met Fendi’s poopies long before she was born.
They were the owners of the flower shop down the street from home, and would go in from time to time to tease them.

The florist was a car enthusiast and we got to know each other well.
The florist has been gone for a long time, as the epidemic has recurred.
It was just over two years ago, but looking back on it now, it’s a blur.

I had never had a serious pet as a child, and I was a stranger to cats.
I remember childhood summers on the roof of the bungalow, when the cats fought the rats.
My aunt’s yellow cat, who would slap cockroaches over in the night and line them up.
My cousin’s little grey cat, often disappearing in despair and then reappearing.

So much so that when I think back to Fendi’s parents, they were just two meow cats on a white background.
At the time, I didn’t know there were Muppets, whether sea double blue double or bobcat tortoiseshell.

Not long afterwards, the first litter was born and Fendi was chosen to come to our home.
And so began a close relationship.

The different habits and characteristics of animals and pets, and the differences in breeding, are more or less well understood.
But the more you break it down to the genus, the more subtle the differences become and many of the feelings cannot be easily obtained from words.

Fendi was my first pet and the first meow I ever had any in-depth contact with.
The next thing I mention about her is that
It may be common to meows, it may be a Muppet trait, or it may be unique to her.

But none of the above matters.
It’s the face that does it justice.

Fendi was brought up by her own parents, so she has passed on all the rules and habits. We prepared her with the same type of food, drink and equipment as her original living environment before she arrived and it was a seamless transition.

The only downside in my opinion is that Fendi is a little hairy. Not to mention the fact that it’s in every corner and crevice of the house, my 100% Cotton tshirt before I arrived has turned into 98% Cotton + 2% Cat hair since I arrived. Of course, it’s a great honour for me to be attached to my master’s wool. The other known drawback, the glass stomach, has not yet been a problem.

No matter how big the home is, Fendi will be around people no matter what you are doing with her. Yes, she greets me when I enter the house, goes into the toilet, she guards the door, watches TV, she lies on the sofa, uses the computer, she lies on the computer desk, eats, she lies by her feet, sleeps, she lies by the pillow. The level of clinginess is far beyond expectation. This is why Ragdoll is recommended for families who have people in the house most of the time and who do not restrict their meow’s movements.

Fendi gets up early every morning and after family rounds will affectionately and consistently wake us up and will climb under the covers on our chests to massage and stomp with her furry little jio until, well, she’s scooped up a small cup of cat food for breakfast. She sleeps most of the day, probably because she’s been living as a house cat since she was bred, and is a great sleeper. She also doesn’t feel capable of surviving or fighting in the wild. All in all Fendi is a good, beautiful and loving kitten who will hopefully live a good life with us.
